Sterling Silver Laser Engraved Rings – Fingerprints, Handwriting or Imagery

Some memories deserve to be etched forever.

Our laser engraving service allows us to inscribe exact handwriting, fingerprints, or even delicate drawings onto your piece. From a handwritten note found in a birthday card, to a child’s doodle or a thumbprint pressed onto paper, we can hold that moment forever in your silver ring.

We can laser engrave:

• Fingerprints – A tangible touch to hold close
• Handwriting – A signature, message, or note in their own hand
• Images – A doodle, a paw print, a symbol you hold dear

• Available on Sterling Silver Ring Bands which have a thickness of 1.5mm thick with a selection of 4 different widths: 3, 4, 5 and 6mm.  For fingerprints we would recommend a minimum width of 5mm for best results

You will be asked to select from 2 types of laser engraving

• Small (10-50% of circumference of ring, such as 1-4 words like ‘love mum” handwriting, a small section of a fingerprint or small image spanning 10-15mm)
• Large (takes up 50-100% of the circumference of ring, such as a continuous mountain range to go around the full ring for example or a long quote or phrase or set of names with 5-10 words)
• You can inform us whether you want the engraving on the inside or outside of the ring.

Handwriting, Imagery & Fingerprints 

• The handwriting, fingerprints and imagery needs to be as clear as possible with a high definition of contrast – black to white (grey scale / smudged fingerprints won’t transfer well over to the metal – you can send us the imagery / photos and we can advise on whether they are suitable.)

How to get these to us

• You can either email or WhatsApp the photos or files to us or you can simply drop them off for us to photocopy there and then at the Kinross Studios during our opening times
• Please allow 6-8 weeks to complete.

Bespoke Services

• These service is also available on other precious metals such as 9ct Gold, 18ct Gold and Platinum – please get in touch with your band width preference and ring size for a quote with this metal.
