 Cremation Ashes / Pet Hair – Set in Resin in an enclosed stone setting with your Moissanite Stone set on top

We create an enclosed stone setting, and cast the ashes or hair into resin, which is then safely held behind a 6mm Moissanite of your choosing. This creates a strong and lasting keepsake, without exposure to wear or the elements.  Sometimes clear stones allow the ashes to remain visible as a subtle grey twinkle but this of course is not guaranteed as each ash colouring is different.  This process also may also darken the stones colour.

  • 25mm Hammered Silver Circle with a 5mm Memorial Moissanite Setting with your ashes/pet hair set in 9ct YG rub over collet with a wee 9ct Solid heart to the side
  • 5mm Moissanite Genuine Gemstone set with the ashes or hair underneath
  • You then choose your gorgeous Moissanite Stones to choose from in our standard and speciality moissanite range.  Our standard 5mm ROUND moissanite colours choices are : Clear, Emerald Green, Bright Blue, Champagne, Teal, Pink, Grey Moissanite (Rainbow is only available In 6mm, contact us if you wish for this necklace with a rainbow moissanite)
  • This is a bespoke service so please allow up to 6-8weeks for our skilled team to make this precious piece for you from scratch
  • Once your order has been placed we will contact you to see if you need us to ship out a small sealed bag for you to send in your ashes / pet hair to us, or you can simply drop them off at our studios in Kinross during our opening hours.
  • You will be sent a photo of the ashes/pet hair within the setting prior to the stone setting, so you can see your special ashes/hair inside.
  • We can offer this with a specific gemstone so get in touch to ask for a quote.

What is Moissanite?

Moissanite is a gemstone born from the stars and is only my clear favourites to offer in my rings due to its amazing sparkle.  Natural moissanite is incredibly rare, so Moissanite, is now laboratory-created producing what is now one of the world’s most scintillating gemstones.  Moissanite, which is made from silicon carbide, is referred to as a diamond simulant and is engineered to give the illusion of similarity to diamonds, but is compositionally and visually quite different from a real diamond.

Hardwearing

Gemstones are measured on the Mohs Scale of Hardness, which assesses a gem?s ability to withstand surface scratching. On the Mohs scale, Moissanite gemstones are a 9.25 on the Mohs Scale of Hardness, so they are suitable for daily wear. Diamonds are the hardest known mineral and receive a 10 on the Mohs Scale of Hardness – keeping your special ashes or hair safe from the elements
