Close to my heart is where you will be

Our laser engraving service allows us to inscribe exact handwriting, fingerprints, or even delicate drawings onto your piece. From a handwritten note found in a birthday card, to a child’s doodle or a thumbprint pressed onto paper, we can hold that moment forever in your piece of jewellery.

We can laser engrave:

• Fingerprints – A tangible touch to hold close
• Handwriting – A signature, message, or note in their own hand
• Images – A doodle, a paw print, a symbol you hold dear

Beautiful 9ct Gold hammered heart charm pendant. The heart charm can be personalised with a name, DOB or word, on both sides or be left plain hammered.

• 9ct Yellow Gold  solid hearts which are 1.5mm thick – with a smooth finish, available on a 16″ or 18″ 9ct gold delicate chain
• Hearts are available in Small Heart – 12mm and the Large heart charm is 16mm
• Hearts are hallmarked at the Edinburgh Assay Office

• You can inform us whether you want the engraving on the front or back of the heart.

Handwriting, Imagery & Fingerprints 

• The handwriting, fingerprints and imagery needs to be as clear as possible with a high definition of contrast – black to white (grey scale / smudged fingerprints won’t transfer well over to the metal – you can send us the imagery / photos and we can advise on whether they are suitable.)

How to get these to us

• You can either email or WhatsApp the photos or files to us or you can simply drop them off for us to photocopy there and then at the Kinross Studios during our opening times
• Please allow 6-8 weeks to complete.
